Today, there are a growing number of people doubting that Jesus is the Savior and King of the whole earth. Different doctrines and doctrines contain different views. However, although there are now many religions, we know that the Way to the LORD is only one that is through Jesus Christ. Many bible verses clearly support and are perinsioned about this.
In some famous sermons, several bible verses were performed to point out that Jesus was the LORD. However, to gain deep-rooted faith and real hope in hearts and minds, cannot grow from just hearing. You need to know God personally to believe in it. How?
In order to know God, we need to establish familiarity with Him. Of course the way is to pray and study the Bible. Some of the bible verses below will help you ponder who Jesus is? What does He mean to be the Messiah and the King? And what ransom benefits did he give? For more information, please be reviewed.
The Bible verse about Jesus is God
1. Acts 4:12
Verse 12: “And salvation is not in anyone but in Him, for under this heaven there is no other name given to man by which we can be saved.”
No other person gives us salvation apart from Jesus Christ. No other name given to man for all of us can have amazing hope in the future. Through the gift of ransom, we are strengthened in faith and hope.
2. 1 John 4:14
Verse 14: “And we have seen and testified, that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.”
The Bible refers to Jesus Christ as the Savior of the World. Where God sent the Son He loved to the earth to live according to the commandments of His Father. Jesus Christ saved a man of faith when He gave his life as a ransom gift for all sorts of people.
3. Hebrews 2:9
Verse 9: “But He, who for a short time was made slightly inferior to the angels, jesus, we see, which is because of the suffering of death, crowned with glory and respect, that by the grace of God he may experience death for all men.”
Jesus felt the name of death for the sake of and for all who have faith in Him. He sacrificed his body on the pillar of torment and was made slightly inferior to the angel because of the suffering of death. But therefore he should receive glory and respect because of the grace of God.
4. John 3:16
Verse 16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only be upon his Son, that whosoever believeth b in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
God loved this world so much, the evidence of his greatest love was when He gave him the only son he loved so much, Jesus Christ. Through Him and by Him everyone has the hope of eternal life instead of perdition.
5. Hebrews 7:25
Verse 25: “Therefore He is able to also save perfectly all those who he has come to God. For He lives always to be their mediaan.”
Jesus Christ was able to save perfectly those who came unto God the Father who was in Heaven. For through Him man can return to a friendship that is familiar with God.
6. 1 John 2:1
Verse 1: “My children, these things I write to you, that ye should not sin, but if one sinners, we have an intermediary to the Father, jesus christ, who is just.”
We are all sinners. This sin has become a barrier between us and God. It is also this sin that ultimately results in death. But through this verse, we are comforted because we know that Jesus Christ is the defender of the man who has faith in His atonement.
7. Acts 16:30,31
Verses 30 and 31: “He drove them outside, saying, Gentlemen, what shall I do, that I may be safe? They said, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your whole house.”
To survive, just believing in Jesus alone is not enough. Just as a body without spirits is nothing, then faith without action also does not mean anything. This verse affirms the importance of believing in our thoughts, hearts and behaviors.
8. John 17:3
Verse 13: “This is eternal life, that they know thee, the only true God, and know Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.”
We can fully obtain eternal life if we gain careful knowledge of the Bible. This is two things: the first is to know God as one true God. Both knew Jesus Christ as a person sent by God.
9. Matthew 7:21
Verse 21: “Not everyone who calls upon me: Lord, Lord! will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”
In this verse Jesus Christ teaches us that not everyone who calls him will be saved. Because, today most people only call the name “God, Lord,..” but do not properly understand what god the Father’s purpose means in heaven. It also means not everyone who claims to believe in being blackmailed.
10. John 14:1
Verse 1: “Do not be uneasy with your heart; believe in God, believe in me too.”
Our God is a source of comfort. Where do we know? Jesus Christ pointed out this in one of the verses in John’s book that although we are agitated for injustice, suffering or unforeseen circumstances that may occur we can believe in the glorifying of God and Jesus Christ.
The description above is a collection of bible verses that clearly mention who Jesus Christ is and why He deserves glory as king and much-loved Son of God. By pondering the bible verse, we can obtain real answers and prove ourselves the truth.
It is from the Bible that the source of truth, to know the truth is not enough to hear only, Jesus Christ who is our King and Savior wants every disciple to have careful knowledge and continue to be strengthened in the faith and hope of Him.
