10+ Quran Verse about Love, Marriage and Wedding

God is all-ing, all-wise. But it is important to remember that Islam only justifies the relationship between men and women who have been tied up in marriage. So any relationship that is established outside of marriage is forbidden, because it will pave the way for adultery. Allah SWT has reminded us not to get close to adultery (QS. Al-Isra: 32). Thus Islam preserves the glory of man and makes marriage a way to establish halal love.

Marriage is one of the recommended good practices for someone who does not yet have a partner. The Prophet (pbuh) even referred to him as a religious enhancer: “If a person is married, then he has perfected half his religion. So fear Allah in the other half. By marrying, a person will be more guarded and his orgasm so as not to fall into one of the great sins, namely adultery.

Getting married isn’t just about making relationships between the opposite sex. But more than that is to build a family that is sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah. That is a family that is peaceful, full of love and compassion and always gets an abundance of grace from Allah SWT.
